Prioritize

Wow, three months since I wrote. I knew it had been a bit. It's funny how life just gets you sometimes. I have found it a challenge to write without a best friend cheerleader as a constant in my life. I had that, a friend that was always asking when I'd write, letting me know he missed reading my stuff, things like that. He was also my editor. Then one day, he went off to visit the woman that is now his wife. Our relationship was turned upside down. I still hear from him on occasion. He is still missing my writing, but he isn't a constant.

How do we find our own inner cheerleader? For me, it was a little activity in priorities. I've struggled with this concept. It leads to time chunking. I haven't decided if I want to be a time chunker or not. It seems awfully restrictive for my way of being. I do like using the exercise for prioritizing.

The idea is that you are building a pyramid of sorts. Your most important things get priority, not necessarily more time in your day, but rather a make sure this gets in you day kind of thing. Each thing gets decided and then placed in a pyramid.

I've done his many times and it's always seemed to fail me. This last time, I admitted something. God isn't the #1 priority for me. Ack, am I going against everything I was taught? When I asked myself about this I heard, “Keeping myself alive is my priority, then God.”

So for me, self-care has to come first. Getting sleep, eating right, drinking water, etc. When I am not doing things like this, my life is out of harmony.  This would mean, taking a break in the middle of the day if I'm needing it. Taking time to heal as things that come up. Having a few minutes of “nothing time” each day, time where I can just be. I don't have to do anything, I can daydream, sleep, meditate or whatever. It's truly me time.

After that comes God. These are the things that I find important for creating the relationship I want with God. Scriptures, prayers, temple and church attendance meditating, etc. If I'm taking care of me and taking care of my relationship with God, I'm ready for anything. I've set an incredible foundation.

After that comes family, for me. That's why giving up homeschool isn't an option unless putting kids in public school is right for them. I have two in public and three at home right now. It's right for us, right now. The emotional health of my family is super vital to me. This is an area I get to take care of daily. The only things that come before my family are putting my air mask on (taking care of me) and God.

Now, here is what surprised me and is what gave me my inner cheerleader. What is the next priority for me? Is it money? No, but I've been obsessed with healing that lately. Is it cleaning my house? No, but wow I'd love to see that happen. What came up for me was “Write.” I have missed writing. I really have. I now see that after my family, writing is what come next for me. It is more important to me than money. It is more important to me than my house. It is vital to my existence. Now what I write, that is a different story. Getting my writings published, well that's a different cup of healing altogether. Knowing that this is so important to me, has prompted me to write again. It has encouraged me to be my own cheerleader.

After writing comes home care. This is where getting my house clean comes in. Having my house in order is more important to me than business. It is what it is. This doesn't mean I don't have time for business. It means I won't be happy doing business things if I am neglecting my home. 15 minutes to an hour a day could satisfy my home care needs enough to allow me to feel fulfilled in this area.

The concept within this pyramid of priorities asks you to keep your things to 6 levels. My final level is a tie. Hobbies and business. In fact, some of y hobbies probably go in self-care. It helps keep me going by relaxing me and spurring creative flow. Some of my hobbies could be turned into money so in some ways it could be money.

Truth is, my business is important to me. Providing for my family is vital to me, which is why I will often put it first in my healing processes. The obsession to heal money has actually been put as a priority before some of the other things and this has thrown my life off balance and out of harmony.

Is there something in your life that is being put ahead of its place? Are you  neglecting an area of life that internally is a priority for you? Take time to find out what things are most important to you. Are you saying God is most important in your life, and yet you never nurture the relationship with him? Put a few minutes in each day to address that or whatever is being neglected.

You can do this. You can decide what your priorities are and then the ways to move forward. Become clear.

Is What You Are Doing Right Now Okay?

I've been out of commission, so to speak. My editor is getting married and I didn't expect the emotions that would come up for me. I find it a little bit of a challenge to get back up after I get down. Here I am! Back up! I can't stay down for long, it's not fun!

Fighting Who We Are

Lately, I have been getting reminders that I am struggling because I am fighting my nature. This has got me thinking about some of the times I have all out fought who I was.

If you have been following me a long time, then you will know about my adventures in Dressing-Your-Truth-land. I believe there is a truth found within the concept, but I am questioning a lot of things about that program.

In the beginning, I wanted to be a type 1, bright, bubbly, outgoing. It didn't really matter what I was because that is what I wanted to be. When my former husband came home from his training saying he was a type 1, I started crying because I was just sure two type 1s wouldn't marry each other.

Then, I went to my training and was mistyped because of my desire to be a type 1. I not only convinced myself, but I also convinced the reserved consultant. If she saw a different type, she wouldn't tell me because she wouldn't want to hurt my feelings.

Dressing as a type 1 came with some unhealthy things. I was determined I wasn't being the outgoing, bubbly person because I was wounded. I was sure if I forced myself to be that outgoing and bubbly person, I would overcome the wounds and find me again. I convinced myself the wounds came so young that I couldn't remember being that way.

I was exhausting and wounding myself. After a few years of this, I finally decided I must be a different type; the truth is I was never settled in the type 1 concept. Shortly after deciding a different type, I went to a party and allowed myself to be quiet and reserved. I allowed others to approach me and I sat in calm observance. I felt incredible relief.

The truth is, inhibited is my nature. I cannot change that without changing the core of who I am. There is a gift in being me. I am a natural observer and my thoughts run deep. My writing is a result of who I am.

In general society, I would be considered an introvert who was trying to force herself to be an extrovert. I still am in many ways. I know that I have the most energy and am being me when I run my business as an introvert and yet I beat myself up for not being an extrovert. How can I have success when I am doing this to myself?

What about you? Where in your life are you forcing yourself to be something you aren't? Are you a stay at home mom type who is trying to fit in a business world? Maybe you're the business type who is trying to fit in the stay at home mom type. Are you outgoing, trying to seem demure? Are you a super shy person forcing yourself into crowds?

Look around at your life. Are there areas in your life where you are trying to be or change who you are? Maybe you are doing energy work that isn't working because you are trying to change the core you. Whatever it is, become aware. That's the first key. Once you are aware you  can decide where to stop doing things, where to change things and where to just go with it anyway.

Feeling Hot, Hot, Hot!

They say that life is a mirror. I know that it is true of people in our experience. I find myself around a lot happier people since I have been letting go of depression and negativity.

Did you know that the things going wrong in our world can be a mirror too? Let me tell you about my Air Conditioner.

We've lived in this house for 5 years. The first year, the AC worked great all summer long. Then it all changed.

The next year, and every year since, the AC works great in the early days of summer. It hasn't gotten too hot and we just use it for a short while to cool things down in the heat of the day. Then we get to the days that it is over 90° F—I think that's 58° C—in the morning and the AC quits. It can't stand the heat so it quits. Here we are not being able to sleep because it's so hot, going on rides in the van just for the AC. The time we need the AC the most and it quit on us.

This is how I feel. I can be so happy and hopeful while things are going fairly well. I've cleared enough energy that most of the time I am doing good. Then things get a little too hot for me. Things break or go wrong and all of the sudden I break down. When my family needs me to be calm and hopeful the most, I'm broken down and often slip to depression again.

Now that I have this awareness, I get to find out what I can do differently. I get to find out my lesson. It could be as simple as believing that I can handle it—how often I've said, “I can't handle this.” Maybe it's that last test from my energy to see if I will believe no matter what happens.

Breathing Is Not Just About Air (part 3)

Yay! This is my 100th blog entry!

For the last two weeks, I have been discussing breathing. Part one was about breathing out and part two was about breathing in. Today, we are going to talk about another reason breathing is so important.

We all have a spirit inside of us. This spirit, or our higher self, is pure love, pure light, pure peace, pure joy, pure perfection... Yeah, I could go on but I think you get the idea. This pure spirit wants to be in our body. The more it can be in our body the more we are on the path that we wanted to be on when we came to earth.

Our spirit cannot exist in something that doesn't vibrate in alignment with us. This means that if we are really negative, it can only be in our bodies enough to sustain our life. The more we clear the negative energy out of our bodies the more our spirit can come in. When our spirit is in we can experience joy, love, miracles, and more.

As I spoke about in the last two weeks, breathing will help our bodies get in a higher state so the spirit can be here more. As we breathe deeply, we are sending a message to the spirit. We are saying, “I am making room for you. Come on in and let's enjoy this experience.”

Our goal in life is to have a full earth experience. We came to earth to gain a mortal body. We came to learn to move it, experience it and love it. Often though, we get here and find out it's a lot heavier than we thought it would be. We have experiences that push our spirits out and then our spirit is begging us to let it back in.

As we breathe deeply we can start to hear our spirit. As we hear our spirit, even if we don't hear with our ears but through messages in Facebook memes, we are learning to do the things we need to in order to be on our happiest path.

Maybe your spirit has been begging you to drink more water. Yeah, your spirit knows exactly what you need. As you breathe deeper your spirit can guide you in how to increase your water intake. It can tell you if you are needing electrolytes in order to utilize the water you are taking in.

Maybe your spirit is wanting you to paint. Your spirit knows what brings you the most joy. What endeavors connect you to the truest you? As you breathe, you are allowing those messages to come through a little more.

Keep breathing. It's life sustaining. I'm talking living fully not just surviving. Your spirit will thank you.

Breathing Is Not Just About Air (part 2)

Last week, I shared about one of the important aspects of breathing. Breathing out. Today, let's talk about what happens as we breathe in.

When we breathe in we are filling up our lungs with air. That air is then able to enter the bloodstream and sustain life. The deeper we breathe the more oxygen in our blood and the better our bodies' function.

So, let's practice for a minute. Make sure you are sitting up straight, give your body all the space it needs for your lungs. You can even raise your shoulders slightly. Hold them up slightly; we aren't using our shoulders to breathe this time. We will use our bellies.

Fill in the bottom of the lungs and then pay attention to the air filling up to the tops of the lungs. Now breathe out as much as you can so you can fill up with more air next time. Now that you have done that we are going to fill up the bottom of the lungs and make sure to fill up the back of the lungs as we go. As humans, we tend to forget that we can use the back of our lungs too. When you breathe out allow your tummy to squeeze in to push out as much as you can. Take one more full deep breath in, filling your lungs as much as you can and breath out.

Chances are you will be breathing a little better now even without thinking about it.

Just like letting go of the breath takes negative energy with it, bringing in fresh air is bringing in fresh, positive energy. The more we breathe deep the more we can bring in positive energy without even thinking about it. We can, of course, take that a step further and actually intend to bring in positive energy.

Imagine as you breathe in that you are breathing in light. This light is filling you up. You can keep breathing light in with each breath until you are full. You can use this same idea to breathe in different colors.

Imagine the color red coming into your body. Let it go wherever it wants to go in the body, and then breathe out the negative. Now breathe in orange and let it go wherever it wants. It may go to the same place and it may go somewhere else. Breathe out the negative. Continuing the same way with yellow, green, blue, purple, white, pink, silver, gold and any other color that comes to mind. You can ask yourself what color is needed and breathe that in.

You can do the same thing with music. Breathing in the notes of the scale or as you are listening to music breathe in the energy of the music. Please pick positive music for this activity.

If you have a painful spot in your body, you can breathe positive energy right into that spot of the body. Sometimes pain is caused by negative energy and sometimes it is caused by not enough energy. As we breathe in energy it will fill up and push out any negative energy that you can send away on your breath.

There is so much that happens with the breath and breathing deeply will train your body to take in more air, release more negative and bring in more positive.

Breathing Is Not Just About Air (part 1)

Breathing is one of my favorite tools. We use it around here on earth to stay alive. *Ü*

Besides just sustaining life, which it does great, there is so much more the breath does and can do.

Breathing deeply releases stuck energy. Breathing helps us fill up. You know how if you don't breath deeply your lung capacity shrinks? If you don't breathe deeply, you also lose some of your capacity to experience life to its fullest.

Let's take these three concepts and look at them a little bit more over the next few weeks.

Breathing deeply releases stuck energy.

When you breathe out you are breathing out bad air. The deeper you breathe the more air you can push out. This clears the way for fresh air to come in.

Automatically, by design, when we breathe deep we are allowing much of the stuff we tend to hold in to move out.

Have you ever noticed that if you take time to breathe when you are in a tense situation, that you begin to feel better? This isn't just about getting oxygen to your blood. Sure physically this is what is happening but there is so much more.

We are countering our natural desires to stuff our feelings. We tend to hold on to emotions when we don't breathe. When we remember to breathe deeply, we are helping our bodies let go of and express some of that emotion. If we add things like feeling the emotions fully, resting into what we are feeling and simply intending to release the feelings we go even further to let these go.

Let's move into how we can intend to release even more with our breath.

You can imagine the darkness, feelings or thoughts leave out with your breath. Breathe in and then imagine the negative is riding out with the outgoing breath. It's really happening not just in your imagination, that's a great thing about energy. It can be that simple.

When you have a pain somewhere in your body, you can take a breath, focus on the pain in the area and let the pain leave on the leaving breath.

Experiment with this.

Release Your Inner Butterfly

Expression is a big deal in our world. We express ourselves through words, we express ourselves through facial expressions, we express ourselves through body language and we express ourselves through the clothes we wear, the art we display and a whole lot more.

Did you know that you can express yourself to people on the others side of the world without interacting with them?

We all have energy systems that are used for expression. Each of our energy systems are tied into a grid of energy that is shared by the entire world. As we express ourselves in our own energy it affects the grid of the whole world.

You may have heard of the Butterfly Effect. That's when they say that a butterfly on one side of the world, flapping its wings could create a tornado on the other side of the world. I don't know if this is really an accurate concept but there is really a correlation of everything affecting everything else.

When we remove one piece of the story everything gets affected.

This is true when you remove a person. Think of the movie It's a Wonderful Life. When he wished he didn't exist he found an entirely different town was existing without him and the influence he had. We are all vital to this world and the current reality that we have.

This is also true as we heal our energy. As we release negative energy, we are sending a message to the rest of the world that it is okay for them to release theirs as well.

It's kind of like the 4-minutes mile. Until it was broken no one knew how or believed you could run a mile in 4 minutes. Now it's done all the time. Until people started healing in super fast ways no one knew how or believed you could.

Think of all the people in the world you affect as you express yourself. Are you sharing the you that you want the world to become? Are you positive or negative? Are you down on yourself and feeling hopeless or are you self-loving and hopeful?

You get to choose.

Let's talk writing

Writing is a super powerful tool. You can share what you know with others through writing. That's what I am doing right now. You can convey a lot of things through writing. Writing has been used for years to communicate across distances or nearby, to record histories of great societies or unknown individuals. Writing is an integral part of our existence.

Writing also can be used to express the truth of who we really are. When done properly, writing can come from very deep inside of you. One way I know I am writing from my truth is when I learn something as I write or when I reread it. When one can get into a relaxed state and write what comes to them, without a filter, they can produce amazing work.

I know someone that wasn't able to write a particular type of scene. During a writing class, they did a relaxed writing without filters technique and she was able to actually write the scene.

We just never know what is waiting inside of us to come out. I had never set out to write a children's book and yet last fall I wrote one.

Writing can also be very healing. As we write for healing we are clearing our energy of some of the muck that gets us stuck. That is why journaling exercises continue to be recommended by me and so many others. I have some great tools for releasing stuck energy but I often return to journaling exercises of different types to assist me in getting to some of the deep life changing issues and then I use my clearing tools to get it all the way out.

Some of my favorite journal exercises are to write a statement such as, “I am a writing genius but...” Then I fill the paper with all the "buts" that come after the statement. Another more positive one that is really fun to do and helps get us in the mode for looking at the positive is to write, “I am a writing genius because...” Follow that with filling your page with all the reasons you are what you say you are.

There are just so many ways you can use writing to heal, to express and to communicate who you are. In today's society, we use writing on a daily basis. Who doesn't use email and social media?

Faith Without Works Is Dead

You may or may not know that I have been working diligently on my money story. I committed to 30 days of seriously getting the negative energy out. I have also been putting this in an e-course that you can join for free. I have been writing what I have been doing for these 30 days.

As I've gone on I realize there are some things that would be better to have from the very beginning or in a different order. This is why I will be editing the e-course when I am done. When this happens I will be launching the Money Matters E-Intensive Course and it will require an investment.

Today, I had a great breakthrough and I would like to share my thoughts with you.

I have noticed that a lot of times when I have done my exercises for the money e-course I am finding that I write "I am lazy." Today, was no different except that I then added this thought, a term I have heard my whole life, "Faith without works is dead." It comes from the Bible, James 2:26.

I had a lot of emotion come up with this. I decided that I must be misunderstanding something. I decided to look up the antonym of the word lazy, this being the term that comes up a lot. Some were industrious, lively, careful, caring, concerned, and diligent.

I started crying. An understanding and relief filled my soul. I saw how I all of these traits and more importantly I saw that scripture in a new light.

Consider this, "Faith without diligence is dead." It wasn't that I worked as hard as I could. It wasn't that I did all the shoulds put on me by myself and others. It is a matter of having faith and then keeping it going. Follow the commandments, act when prompted by the spirit, keep my eye on the Kingdom, do my personal best, etc.

I do my best every day. That is all I can do. I hope you too find peace with this different perspective.

Do Your Energies Flip Only Sometimes?

Last week, I wrote about Polarity Reversal. I gave a little insight into what happens when you are generally reversed. This week, I want to talk about what happens when you are situationally reversed.

Let's take for instance about my love life. In general, I feel great about myself. I can look in the mirror and see a beautiful woman. I know I am worthy of love and great things. I feel great until...

A guy shows up on my radar. He's attractive. He's smart. He's got so many of the things I am interested in.

All of the sudden I start looking in the mirror and comparing myself to the other ladies. I start questioning whether I am worthy of him. Whether he would ever want me.

What just happened? Did all those beliefs return? Not really. What happens is there is another belief running in my energy that is specifically related to men and romantic relationships. When that belief gets triggered, I start to feel like all the beliefs return. My polarities get reversed again.

When we know this is what is happening we can resolve it. When our energies are running properly we feel great, we feel confident and like we can do anything. When our energies are disturbed in any way, we will start to feel undeserving, unworthy, etc.

If you are feeling pretty amazing most of the time and then have some areas that seem like the rug gets pulled out from under you, consider the idea that you have a situational belief causing you to be reversed.

Polarity Reversal? Are Things Just Not Getting Better?

Last week, I wrote about the masculine and feminine energies being out of whack. This week, I will share with you about the polarity within our bodies.

When our polarities are off it is often compared to putting batteries in backwards or reversed. We just can't get a charge when this happens. For some people, they have physical things like running into walls that happen. For others, there is a major brain fog. For me, and most, there is also a sense of depression and hopelessness.

When one is reversed it can be very hard to get the energy work to work or stick. It will feel like it doesn't matter what you do, you can't get anywhere. It creates a big desire to quit. After all one of the biggest thoughts that can come when all you do isn't working is, “What is the use?” Most of us hang on for a while as we have something inside of us that keeps us moving, refusing to quit. Sometimes that will break down and quitting in any degree will and can happen.

I kept having a small thought leading to the idea of polarity reversal, but it wasn't fully forming. I was sitting with my friend and she was telling me about how she just can't clear anything since she was sick. I told her, “Your polarities are reversed.” "Hmmm," I'm thinking as the polarity thought finally had a vehicle to come through, "that must be my problem too."

See there are many reasons why our polarities can get reversed. Sometimes it is a belief at work. Sometimes these beliefs just run certain areas of our lives. So a person can have success in relationships but never lose weight. Or maybe they can have success in every part of their life except money. Others of us get general reversals, which affect every area of our life.

Other reasons that you can get reversed is dehydration, stress, a lot of negativity, getting sick and more. Now let's take those of us who have some beliefs that we have either cleared or are still working on. We could have something come in, like an illness, and it puts us down. All those beliefs we had changed, like me on worthy, are now feeling like they are back in full force. It does feel a little different but in many ways the same as when those beliefs were the thing keeping us down.

It has been since I was sick at the end of March that I just couldn't get back up! It felt like nothing I did was working. Giving up was looking better and better.

Switched Up Energy?

For the first time in over a month, I feel like I am back. I didn't know what was going on. It was like I just couldn't snap out of it. I'd try shifting the energy and it would last a few hours up to a couple of days at best.

A friend did some work with me and he had me reverse my feminine and masculine energy. I have had a lot of issues with this for as long as I can remember. They'd say, “Your energies are switched.” I'd get so bothered by this because it didn't feel right to say that. After he did this work with me and switched them, I did some work. I asked for teachings about the energies, how I could know if they were in order and how to resolve it.

I was led to see what I often do. When I had cleared generational things I would often see my “family” spreading out, almost like a fan chart from genealogy but more like with actual people connecting. Then I'd see someone light up and watch the connecting energy as it fanned out from them through all of their descendants including me.

I had often seen this in front of me. My mom's family on my right and my dad's on my left. This is the opposite of the sides of the masculine and feminine. I realized that they were twisted on an axis. When I shifted them around to the back, as they were my history, I found that my feminine ended up behind me on the right and my masculine ended up behind me on the left.

From this, I learned that my energy wasn't “flipped” and that was why I was having a problem with all their corrective measures. For 10 years, I have been being led to ways to resolve this by flipping the energy. Now I know how to check for me and fix if my masculine and feminine are off.

Here's what I would suggest for you. Ask, I use prayer, for the teachings on how you can tell for yourself if the energies are in proper alignment. You'll be guided to your own way of knowing. There are so many ways of knowing and just allow it to be perfect for you.

Getting my masculine and feminine in order didn't necessarily feel any better. I will be open to learning why it is so important that these are in order. For now, this information on its way. In fact, if you have insight, please share in the comments.

Who Are You?

Let me tell you a little about me. I am an Identity Specialist. Of course, you will ask, "What is that?" I assist women, and maybe a few men, to come out of their shells and shine.

The term Identity Specialist came a long time ago. It hit with such an amazing energy that I held on to it even when I didn't know what one was, what I did, or even what my message was. I just knew it was right for me.

About a month ago I got really sick. I was in bed for a week. There is nothing like a mandatory vacation to get one to stop and take a look around. After this week in bed, I ended up a quitting a lot of things. I was experiencing two things that we all can experience at some time or another.

One thing I did was take a moment to reevaluate. This can be amazing. Maybe something happened and what we thought we wanted didn't work out. Now there is a chance to check in and see if you are doing what brings you joy or need to change something.

The other thing that happened is the lie guys showed up. This is a term I got from The New Money Mama, Adhis Boucha. These are the little voices in your head, whether your beliefs or entities, telling you lies about yourself. "You're not good enough." "You don't know enough to do this." "Who would ever want to work with you?"

Luckily, I have an inner strength that has learned that there is a way out of these lies influence. I kept going and am now better than ever. I have up-leveled in my clarity. I know that it is time to share my message in a big, bold and beautiful way, in other words from my heart to your spirit.

I want you to know who you are!

You are a gift! 

You are valuable, needed, wanted, cherished, worthy, amazing... oh I could go on!!! I love it when I look at a person and see the unique strength brought to the world, a gift only one person can share.

What is the Universe?

Often, I hear about "the universe." At one time in my life, it was just the thing out there, the thing with stars and planets. A great expanse outside of me that didn't really matter.

Then years ago I started learning about energy medicine, about manifesting and about energy psychology. There was a new meaning to the word universe, but it was lost on me.

I rejected the use of the term. So often, it was being interchanged with God and I was not okay with that. I wouldn't even use the term universe for years. I had pieces of my understanding opened to me. I began to see it separate from God and I even began to use the term occasionally.

I recently watched a video. There were some interesting messages for me in that video. Daryl Shaun Price mentioned the universe. With my limited understanding of the term, I started to question his thoughts. So, I asked him some questions.

One of those he never answered but turned back on me. At first, I was bugged. I had wanted his perspective on what the universe was to him. Instead, he asked me. I couldn't answer. I was unsure but open to learning. I did what I often do. I asked the Lord. I simply ask for Him to give me teachings on things. My mind begins to ponder. Sometimes the answers show up through others but often my understanding just is.

The problem with defining the universe is that there is more than one answer. There are many universes.

Each one of us has our own universe. It's the world we create. We create our own circumstances. As we change our beliefs and release our limiting trapped energy our universe changes. People either change with us or drop out of our experience because their universe does not align with ours.

There are cultural and mass consciousness universes. These are what happens when so many individual universes have the same beliefs and are interconnected, passing their beliefs down through generations. We can get caught up in this web of universes or we can let go and align with a higher universe.

So what is a higher universe? There are at least two concepts that I know here. One is a higher mass consciousness; this has become very common to move into. Where people speak, think and feel at higher vibrations, consciously acting and creating. It is the consciousness many healers and coaches are at or want to be at.

There is another universe that is higher still, God's Universe. It's not necessarily the same as what people talk about as god consciousness. This isn't you and your own inner god or goddess. This is our true goal though, aligning our energy with the highest vibrations. It is a place of love, joy and true bliss. A place we can all align with when we choose. It may take line upon line but we can all get there.

So what do I think my friends means when he speaks of the universe validating you? Well, we'd have to ask him his meaning but here is my take and interpretation. When I have needed support and someone says just the right thing or I find the perfect information I feel answered, heard and validated. Isn't this the multidimensional gift of synchronicity?

I feel God's love for me and my love for myself. I recognize my ability to ask, create and receive within my own universe. The more I heal the more I receive this way. My intuition grows, my answers show up faster and my unique universe validates and supports me.

Holy Wow, Was That a Lot of Pain!

Oh, the walls I have created in my life. What is it with this tricky energy? Silly stuff.

We are designed with amazing coping mechanisms. Things are too hard to deal with, find a solution! The problem is, they aren't always the best solutions.

Now, we get to train our energy how to cope with healthy solutions.

I just discovered within the last few weeks that I had put a wall between me and the emotions I didn't want to feel. It was a step beyond the stuffing of emotions we hear of. Not only was I “stuffing” the emotions but I was stuffing them behind the wall. I wasn't finding anything with my techniques that search for walls. Oh, maybe a few trapped energies were found when I searched for “hidden” energy but, for the most part, there was this huge wall between me and some of the greatest pain I have ever known.

I let that wall go and found some pretty intense anger. Anger is a secondary emotion, of course, and it covers the hurt. I had a huge fight with my mom. I then started expressing all of my anger at the Lord. Then I even shared with my friend about how angry I was at the Lord, finally, the anger dispelled leaving me in depression.

Why do I share this? I share this because I want you to know that you are not alone on your healing journey. It can be a painful experience as we come across some of the things that are buried in our energy. The good news is that sometimes it is easy and it can be fast.

The fight with my mom wasn't good, but the emotions are gone now. The depression ran its course and I am feeling good again. In certain areas of my life, I feel better than I have ever felt.

On the other side of pain is healing, but we cannot get there if we are unwilling to look at the pain. It doesn't mean we have to actually re-experience the pain; we just need to acknowledge that it is there. We need to be honest with ourselves as we look at what is going on.

Why are we angry? What are we afraid of? What hurt is there? Then go deeper still. What about it is scary? What about it is painful? Often we can discover our beliefs under the pain and when we know what they are, they will go away.

Under my recent pain, I was believing that everything was my fault and that I was being blamed. I was seeing fingers pointed at me, whether they were pointing or not.

It really is time for us to heal! The world is awakening. The time is now. The time to step into LOVE is now. I'm talking deep abiding self-love that opens the paths for the love of mankind. The Lord told us to love our neighbor as ourselves. How can we love our neighbors if we don't love ourselves? It's time to heal and love!

How I Got around Tricky Energy

I have now hosted two TeleWorkshops. I am so excited about these. I test out my healing portion before each call. I found them to be extremely powerful healing opportunities.

I was surprised when I originally wrote them. For the very first one, I had no idea that we would be writing or drawing. I just followed what I felt as I wrote. Holy cow, the information that people have received from doing them.

My sweet friend shared that on this last Abundance TeleWorkshop, that she didn't have anything to clear. She just had positive words for herself and advice to be grateful and all that she desired would come. How wonderful that she could learn that she was whole in that area of her life.

My own experience has been one of greater healing. I have been seeking answers to why I still felt like my heart was in a wall but got that there was no heart wall. In this healing experience, I learned that our energy can be so tricky if it doesn't want to let go of something.

I had “no walls,” instead I found that I was in a coffin. Life and love were too painful for me. I was so focused on the negative side of the experiences. I had a belief that love hurts. How could I be love if love hurts?

Well, I was guided to find the opposites. I can tell you now that love heals, love is comfortable, and life is comfortable and easy. It is good to be alive and it is wonderful to be love.

Really though, I am telling you because I want you to have those wonderful healing experiences for yourself. I want you to hear how amazing you are from you. Fear is not you. If you are afraid, in pain, sad, resentful, angry or any other negative emotion you can come up with, then you are not being you. You are in there. You are all things good and positive, the wonderful essence that lies beneath all of that negative. I would love to see you shine!

Ask and Ye Shall Receive with Ease

Ask and ye shall receive. I have heard it all of my life. You probably have too. What does it mean to you? More importantly do you believe it?

I have been a fan of prayer for as long as I can remember. It wasn't necessarily something I grew up doing but when I did, I found the greatest blessings there. There was something in me that believed there was someone up there listening. In my darkest times, when I left all that I believed, I still prayed.

This is my way of getting the information I need, or want. I ask. I ask before I write and I ask for all of my business tasks. I ask about my family and other things.

We live in a world where it is often taught that things need to be hard and a struggle. This is not truth. It can be easy and gentle. As I have increased in my belief that I will be answered I have had so many amazing experiences.

I wanted to know what belief was causing me struggle. I asked for it to be shown me in gentle ways. Within 24 hours, I had multiple people say to me, “You are being codependent.” The first time I heard it my response was, “No, this isn't codependency. Sure I've been codependent but this problem isn't.” When I heard it again and again from different people I began to see that indeed it was.

I asked and I received with ease.

Recently, I had a pretty stressful situation going on. I wasn't able to let go of some things. It was driving me crazy. I had already cleared them, I was sure of it. Yet, the same things were showing up. I again asked to be shown in gentle and easy ways. I felt inspired to post a question to a group of friends on Facebook. From that question, someone messaged me in private and he had the answer I needed. It was easy and gentle.

I asked and I received with ease.

Sometimes the information comes straight into my conscious awareness, pure knowledge flowing in. Some call this a divine download. Other times he uses others to speak to me. Sometimes it's in a book.

Just before I wrote this, I was chatting with the Lord about whether I was neglecting my children when it comes to homeschool. I was asking for understanding of what each child needs. I asked to be taught about their love languages, their learning styles and more.

As I thought about my little girl after praying, I heard, “Teach her curiosity. Teacher her to say, “Oo how can I learn this?” or “Oo how can I do this?” The “Oo” part needs to be juicy and excited. How wonderful to teach her “How can I?” at such a young age. The possibilities are endless and when you ask and you are open to receive.

I ask and I receive. I pray and listen. I was guided to open my scriptures. I opened to a story that addressed neglect and more importantly a story where someone perceived neglect when in reality the king was not neglecting but rather busy fighting his own battles. I saw so many answers for me in this and feel peace about things with my family.  Sometimes the answer is just a reassurance that things are and will be okay.

I mentioned "How can I?" This is one of the two most powerful things I ask for. When I am in prayer and I say, “How can I?” I get the most amazing answers. Even when I am just going about my life and throughout the day, that question is powerful and I find what I need. I ask; I receive with ease.

The other things I ask is for teachings to be taught to me about whatever I want assistance or knowledge about. Sometimes teachings about my false beliefs. Sometimes teachings bout a subject. Sometimes teachings about a person. It's all there. It is taught to me, but sometimes I can't hear because of what is going on, so He sends others to break through the barrier to my understanding.

It is a beautiful thing. I dare you to try it. Ask. Ask, "How can I?" Ask for understanding. Ask, "What's another way?" Ask and you too shall receive with ease.

How Does Music Influence You?

Have you ever noticed the power of music? As I write this, I am listening to classical, or rather specifically Baroque music. It is designed, or rather inspired, to guide the brain in relaxation and openness.

Not all Baroque does this. I downloaded this compilation of music (link to music) and found that one song just really set me on edge or would change my mood. It wasn't good for writing so I deleted it from my writing playlist.

Maybe you haven't noticed the power of music. We all react to music. Some of us will love a certain kind and others will hate it. Some of this is a cultural upbringing. If you weren't raised on country, you may find a distaste for it, when in reality it is just unfamiliar and you like to stick to familiar.

I'm in my 40s and I have noticed there are a lot of people that hold onto the music of the 80s. There is nothing wrong with this, but they are not open to some of the music of today. They are holding onto the past and familiar.

For myself, I love a lot of the music of my high school days. The 80s had some great music! I also have found some really powerful modern music. Some of the songs that have really inspired me are "Firework" by Katy Perry, "Brave" by Sara Bareilles and "Unwritten" by Natasha Bedingfield. They are modern songs with powerful messages. There are more, of course, and as the world moves forward there are more and more inspiring messages from today's popular artists.

There are styles of music I don't like. The reason I don't like them is because of how they make me feel. The chaotic nature of electronic instruments will often physically be painful for me. There are words and concepts that I don't like to bring into my life. When set to music the thoughts and concepts are ingrained very deep into us.

Music can be used to program our energy. Keep that in mind as you listen. Do you want those messages to become a part of your reality? Do you want to be the kind of person that says or does the things you are listening to? Consider these things as you choose your music.

Notice how the music makes you feel. Do you choose certain music when you are in a bad mood? Do you choose that music because it matches your mood or because it lifts you out of your mood? When you are sad do you choose music that adds to and keeps you in sadness?

Do you notice that sometimes you can be in a great mood and a song plays and it starts to bring you down? Is it triggering a memory or does it always do this? If it's triggering a memory or belief, clear the energy. When it's clear, see if the song still does this. If it's always like this, maybe consider eliminating the song for your listening experience.

I hope you find the music that is right for you. Music that lifts your soul and encourages you to be the person you are inside.

What Do You Want to Hear?

My dearest readers,

I am so grateful for the opportunity that I have to write to you. I love writing, and more important, I love hearing back from my readers.

I consider you all my friends, even if you only read and move on. As friends, I would like to assist you in any way that I can.

One thing that I have resisted is the idea of asking my readers what they want to hear. I have rebelled and said, “I write for me and if my readers get something then I am blessed.” This is not a bad way to look at things; it has produced many things that have inspired me and others.

There is a better way, now that I am feeling better about where I am, less healing and more serving. What I want to do is start to include questions from you. I have found that as I am answering the questions of my friends, I get some amazing things come through me that I would have never thought of. They are beautiful and tender, from the spirit realm.

Is Codependency Weighing You Down?

Getting this whole balance thing in order has been quite a challenge. I have found that I have a lot of all or nothing thinking going on.

One thing that seems to have made a huge difference is letting go of some codependency energy. I found that I was giving myself a lot of shoulds that had nothing to do with my heart or my desires. They were all about pleasing others so that they wouldn't leave me. I have found that since releasing that energy I am feeling better about the things I need to do. A huge burden has been lifted from my shoulders.

It's really sad when you have beliefs and thoughts like I did. I didn't want to become successful because it would mean leaving someone. I was so stuck on the idea that if I left, things would not be okay for me, that person or whatever reason.

The truth is, without that energy, I can create happy choices that are right for me, allowing people to have their own choices and reactions. I can't change them. I don't need to enable them or them enable me.

I don't want to go into a marriage with that kind of energy. I want to be an independent person. We were never meant to be dependent on each other. We had that dependent stage as an infant and then we are supposed to grow into independence, becoming unique adult people. We can then go into a relationship as a partner, an equal, making decisions together for the best of the whole.

Codependent feelings do not allow for that. We'll always be looking for someone to take care of us, or that we can take care of. Yes, both sides of the coin, codependent and enabler are the same energetic coin. Often when we experience one, we can find areas in our lives where we experience another.

This is what I am finding as I seek balance, the ability to heal some of these kinds of things will allow me to walk into life with my head held high. I know I am accountable only for me. This allows me to get things done because there is less pressure.

So, how do you let this kind of energy go? Awareness of its existence is half the battle. Use the tools you have been lead to. One of my favorite tools, and its super easy to use, is the simple act of prayer.

When You Can't Focus On What You Want

Here is an excerpt from Journey to Self. This is the book I will be writing. I know there is more to the title, but it will come later. :)

"On the journey to love, or who we truly are, we must understand what is in our way. The biggest challenge that comes when we look at this is the fact that so many of us get caught up in the experience of focusing on our lack. We spend so much time looking for what is wrong we forget to feel, love and be present in the now. I ask that you be careful to focus on the positive experiences and joy as you take this journey."

After years of struggling through I finally figured something out. It wasn't something new. I had heard it many times before. Maybe you've heard it too.

Focus on what you want, who you want to be.

I had so much negative energy in my system that I couldn't focus on the things I wanted. I am not angry at myself for this. I learned recently that when our experience is constantly in a state of sadness, fear, or other negative feelings, our brains are rewired and the brain doesn't know how to feel positive.

It was very hard when people would say to just be happy. They'd even say to get out and serve and think about others as if that would instantly change the patterns and chemicals in my brain. If a person is normally happy and they hit a situation that creates depression, then yeah that can help them get out. When one is in a constant state of depression there needs to be another way out.

I found my way out through emotional and energetic healing. I went from a place of being mostly depressed and occasionally happy to now, where I am happy more often than not. I can get down, of course. I'm not cleared of all the negativity in me, yet. The difference is that I don't stay there. I start using my tools and pull myself right back up. I know what it feels like to live in a state of peace and that is what I now crave.

What tools would I suggest for this? Well, here's a little horn tooting, my free meditation is a great way to start. The subscribe link as at the end of this post to get that. It is a quick way to start or continue healing. My other meditations, TeleWorkshops, and courses will take you to an even deeper and faster whole state.

EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) is an easy method one can use, however, this one didn't work for me until I cleared some stuff with other methods. I was what is called psychologically reversed. Basically, it means I had some core beliefs that wouldn't allow me to heal with that method.

One of my favorites is The Emotion Code. Get started with the Emotion Code for free. (affiliate link) This remains one of my favorites because this is where I started to truly feel a difference in my life. I now understand that the “psychological reversal” was a part of what Dr. Brad calls the Heart Wall. One thing I love about it is if you use his system you can either go to someone else or you can learn to do the work on yourself.

After a while of using his system, I was led to add other things to the clearing system. I use this new method more than I do the Emotional Code. I do believe that the Emotion Code is a perfect program as is. My method is now a different program because I needed to go deeper. One day I will share it with the world at large. Until then, and even then, use the tools that you are led to. I don't believe in accidents. I believe that we are led to everything for a reason. Sometimes that reason is to test our discernment but often it is to guide us to healing.

A huge change for me was really getting to the bottom of my beliefs. There are so many story busters, myth busters, and belief busters out there. They are fairly similar and the whole point is to get to the bottom of what you are really experiencing. They assist you in stopping the blame game and looking inside for what is happening.

I love to use these tools to find out what I believe under all the hurt and fear, then use the different releasing tools I have to release the negative energy all around these beliefs and stories. This gets stuff cleared at a very deep level. Allowing me to step into wholeness fast.

Now that I have enough negative energy cleared, I know what it is like to feel positive, I can start to use the concept that I began with. I can focus on what I want. I have the knowledge of what feeling good feels like. I can put that feeling on what I want. As I increase my joy level it is easier to put that joy on and into what I want.

Here's the other thing that starts to happen. I once was constantly looking for what to clear. Sometimes because I was triggered and wanted to know what was causing that pain so I could move on. Sometimes because I just knew there was so much negativity inside me that I wanted it all out. Now I can set an attention to feel good. I can plan for something I want, focus there and I don't go looking for what to clear.

As I focus on what I want things will naturally come to the surfaces to be cleared. I asked to be gently shown what needs to be cleared. One experience of this was just a few weeks ago. I had more than one person flat out tell me, “You believe....” and then they proceeded to tell me what I believed, I don't remember what the belief was. The first time I heard it, I was kind of like, “Hmm Maybe.” I didn't really know if I agreed. When the second person on the same day told me the same thing I realized this was the answer to my request. I cleared the energy and feel so much better.

I guess one thing I want you to learn from this post is that it's ok if you can't find it within yourself to focus on what you want. Sometimes we are buried too deep in our stuff to do that. As you find your way out you can step into that idea and find peace in the concept. Keep at it. Keep healing. Become who you were meant to be.

Creating Balance with Trello

This has been a really hard couple of weeks. I have been struggling with finding balance. It is one of my three themes this year. I was struggling with the idea of picking one word to represent this year. I couldn't. I wanted balance and health. Then someone said pick three, it rang well in my being and so I did.

I am continuing the theme of Love. It is the essence of who we are so I will continue that theme for the rest of my life.

I am also focusing on health. One goal a month and others as they feel inspired. January has been no soda pop. I've been doing it. I have worked through cravings. I have had times when I felt like that soda would be so helpful in stress. I worked through. I hope to carry this one on for the rest of my life.

The last subject is balance. I have been struggling. How do I balance my spiritual studies, taking care of self, my social life (aka my obtaining an eternal sweetheart), my homeschool and other activities with children, my writing and my other business desires. How do I do it all? They are all super important to me. This is still something I am working on.

One thing that is helping is Trello. I was so blessed to find this. I had been writing things down in a notebook., a page for each section of my life to jot down notes as I thought of them. This gets challenging, flipping through the pages and then if I write sloppy it bugs me, or if I cross something off because it's done. Then it looks messy and I don't want to look at it.

When I saw what Trello could do I was immediately on board. I joined as soon as I knew it was free. There are a few perks, like pictures for backgrounds, in the paid version. In fact, if you join through my link I'll get a free month of those extra perks. The most important things are all free!

I can use each board like I do a page in the notebook. It always stays looking neat! I have the app on my phone. I made a "brain dump" list that I can quickly insert thoughts as they come. If you see me with my phone out at church, I'm probably adding an idea to my list. :) Later when I am at the computer I can sort them to where they belong.

I'm loving this sense of organizing. It works a lot like my brain does. I can make to-do lists. I saw an example of how to make a template that you can just copy. The example I saw did hers as a weekly thing. Then the checklist and other details don't have to be remade. I did mine for daily. The little things I do daily, (scriptures, exercise, etc) that I like to check off are there, and then I have a priority 3 list. Sometimes I put 4. :)

I have a board for each business I work at and then a list for each aspect. I have a board that has 3 lists. This is my bucket list board. It has a list each for Be, Do and Have. It's really fun to add to this! I have a board for my health. When I get married I will likely make a board for planning that wedding.

It was a true blessing and answer to my prayers to find Trello.

Next, I'm learning how to get my writing and scriptures in before I start the day. Both are so important to me. I have found if I don't do them in the morning, I don't do them at all. I can do this!

My tips for anything, but especially for being organized.

1. Pray for guidance.
2. Take it one aspect or step at a time.
3. Be patient and forgiving with yourself.

I Believe In Christ

I have a few goals for 2015. One of those goals is to step more fully into myself as a whole being by sharing an aspect of myself that is sometimes hard to share. One way I committed to doing this is by sharing  my religious testimony, in a big way, once a month throughout this year. My first one is a huge step out of my comfort zone by sharing it here. Last month I shared 3 letters of my testimony at my son's mission blog. Please feel free to partake of the spirit of those letters.

I have always admired the healers who have been vocal about their religious beliefs. It doesn't matter if they share my beliefs. I admire the courage to say, “This is a part of who I am.” I have seen some who share my beliefs be hush-hush about it. I have even seen one side step the questions about her religion. Almost as if they were embarrassed or if it was going to prevent them from having business. I must admit this has been a fear of mine. Then, I see Dr. Bradly Nelson of The Emotion Code (affiliate link) and Leslie Householder who have not denied nor hide their beliefs. They are both very successful and respectful of other points of view.

So what do I believe? I'm a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, also known as the Mormons. I share this as a way to let people know where I am coming from, what they can expect from me as a healer and friend.

I have a strong belief in the Savior Jesus Christ. I know that He died on the cross for me after suffering in the garden of Gethsemane. I believe that He visited the America's and the account of that event is found in the Book of Mormon. I do believe that the Book of Mormon is another testament of Christ. The first testament of Christ being the Bible. I believe in families being together forever and the blessings that come from the temple.

Ways that this affects my healing?

I pray to Heavenly Father (God) in the name of Christ. I use prayer with all of my healing. I don't necessarily offer a prayer on my meditations, but I do offer prayers while I am making them. I release things in the name of Christ as well. I will refer to both beings individually as I believe they are two separate beings one in purpose. I will refer to the Spirit and my spirit. One is the Holy Ghost, spirit guidance from above and one is my own spirit.

I choose not to speak to angels, unless the spirit suggests that I do. This is a rare thing as I prefer to get information straight from the source, my Father in Heaven.

Another aspect is my belief on eternal life. I do believe we existed before we were born. I do not believe we have ever lived on this planet before. I have a lot of theories on the concept of reincarnation, but I'll keep those to myself. I believe that we will continue to live after we leave this world. We're on a path of progression and gaining a body is just one part of this plan.

I do healing sessions for spirits that have moved on, including my own family predecessors. I believe that they, for the most part, let go of this world, but they may have something that holds them back from progression. If I am led to it, I heal it. I've seen interesting miracles in the lives of their descendants when I do.

When I say “I heal” I mean that I am the tool for healing. I am the one setting the intention, using the meditations or other releasing methods. The truth is that healing is only possible through the atonement of Christ. He didn't suffer just for sin. He suffered for all the pain that we have experienced and He wants us to be whole and perfect, like He is. He is the healer.

So this is my testimony for all to see. I am a “Mormon”.

Getting Clear

Clarity. Sometimes we think we are clear. Sometimes we are right but often we are wrong. We don't realize how unclear we were until we get another dose of clarity. :)

I have been going through a few months of personal up-leveling. I have taken myself through some mighty changes in the last few months. I've worked on it for years and have finally had staying results. I have had times that have been quite productive and others that I have wondered why I kept going. Recently, the changes have felt so different. They have felt solid and sure. I've felt them coming for a while now. It was like the key was just around the corner. Well, now it is here. I am feeling amazing. I'm happier than I ever remember being.

Along with this, has come some new awareness and levels of clarity. Two big ones that I can see in my life. Maybe they came as a result of inner clarity.

The first one is from this; I read the other day about deciding if you have a business or a hobby business. Well, I didn't want to be a full-time business owner. I really love being a homeschool mom and that is my biggest time consumer. I also didn't want to have a hobby business. The pull within me, to find the right place for me and my talents, is to great to call a hobby.

It really hit home, I was the only one that could decide and become clear on it. Until I was clear, the energy of my business was just as confused as me. I chose to be clear. My new business statement is, “I am a part-time business owner with full-time business benefits.” It feels good to call myself a part-time business owner. It isn't a hobby and it isn't a full-time thing. I have a lot going on in my life. This clarity is perfect for me.

The other area is my room. The thing is I have lived in the “family room”. It was designed as such by the architect and it doesn't have a door. I have whined internally and occasionally externally about this fact for a while now. With this clarity thing I realized, I get to declare what this room is. I get to claim it as my room or it will never be my room. It will always have confused energy. It can no longer be my storage-bed-office-in-the-family-room room.

I still get to have all the stuff in my room or choose to get rid of it. I have declared an office space. My children find it funny that I call it such. I have told them, "This is my office." I am declaring a section as the storage space, although things are really getting rearranged for that. I realized, the dishes, packed away while I live with my mom, need a new home. They'll trade places with the stuff under the stairs, so I am not visually reminded daily that I don't have my own home. I am also declaring a bedroom area.

There is just something so powerful in declaring these things. There is something powerful in owning my room. Sure I am a renter, for now. Sure I live in a room originally designed as a family room. For now it is my space. For now it is serving my purpose. I get to own it, declare it and live it.

Feel It To Heal It

Imagine, if you will, a great big emotion knocks you off your feet. What do you do? If you are like the majority of people you will run from it. You'll deny you feel anything and stuff it deep inside.

Does stuffing this emotion make it go away? Of course not. Now that big ball of emotion is a blockage in your energy.

I like to think of our emotions as a pipe system. There is supposed to be a flow of emotion passing through us. When we stuff something, instead of feeling it, we are clogging up the pipe. The flow of emotions can't move through and builds up behind the clog. Sometimes it will burst out bits of it and you'll experience outburst of emotions. The main clog is still there. It may even cause the pipe to burst somewhere else, allowing the emotions to create dis-ease somewhere in the body.

Energy healing tools assist us in clearing out the pipes. We can start to allow our energy to flow through some of these pipes. Then something happens and we could get more energy balls stuck. How do we prevent them from sticking too?

Before I explain, let me explain that each ball of energy attaches to a previous ball of energy or other disruption in the energy flow. Someone hurt your feelings as a child., you didn't know how to deal with it, and the energy trapped and along with that a false belief was created. Then a few years later you experienced another hurt you didn't know how to deal with. Now you've added that new ball of energy to the first one, and confirmed that false believe about yourself. The process continues until now, as an adult, you can't remember what it was like to not feel that hurt or believe anything else about yourself.

I want to share with you a method that will help you deal with the feelings. It won't release the beliefs or other trapped energies, but it will assist you in calming and healing the emotions. This is also a great way to train your body to allow emotions to go through you, keeping the emotional pathways clear.

Think on a time when you felt the negative feeling you want to release. Let's start with anger as it is a common experience and more important a secondary emotion. Instead of avoiding the feeling as we often do I want you to feel it. I want you to think of an event that makes you so incredibly angry. Feel it. Focus on the feeling and even allow it to grow and fill you whole body. You don't need to hold onto the memory. Only use it as long as you need to in order to fill your whole body with the feelings. Notice how your body is responding and just feel it.

It really is safe to feel. It is not the feeling that is bad. It is just a response. It is what we do when we feel this that can create a problem. So for now you are just going to feel it. Allow it to encompass your whole being. After a bit you will notice it starts to fade.

Continue and move on to another negative feeling and just keep feeling until you find yourself no longer upset by the situation or memory. Knowing that under anger is usually hurt. The event will recreate anger if the hurt is never felt. Anger is our bodies coping mechanism.

If you are finding that you don't feel much, like you never cry or you just feel numb all the time, then consider you are probably hiding from your feelings. Start small. How did you feel when that driver cut you off? How did you feel when you heard about the new political policy being reviewed? There are feeling causing things all around us. We all feel but often we aren't aware we are doing it. You can do this. You can begin to give yourself permission to feel and through feeling comes healing.
