More Powerful Word Intention

Dear Friends,

Last time, I wrote about a word for the year. I want to tell you about how I have been taking that a step further. Okay, maybe a few steps. Hehe

One step is by learning the definitions of the words I choose. I study them in scriptures and secular writing. I ponder them and really get to know what a word means to me.

The other step is the real intent of this blog post. I choose words for each month, each week and often each day. For the month of January 2017, I chose the word "Order." It's amazing how easy it was to get things in order.

The Power of My Word of the Year, Will You Partake?

Dear Friends,

This year, I have a word. My word is "Fruits." One of the main concepts I'm pondering and experiencing is “Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.” (Matthew 7:20 KJV)

It's been really fun to see the things that I have been planting for years finally bringing forth fruit. Yay me! I've found that the fruit is coming much faster as well.

A fun story about that happened with my 9-year-old daughter.

Leaving Me to Please and the Flow Stopped

Dear Friends,

I am super excited to be back. It turns out that when you try to do things that are not really aligned with who you are, you can really upset the whole balance of things.

I'm a writer. I love to write and read. It's truly just a part of who I am. I get so much inspiration and intuitive information while writing. I'm in awe at some of the things I write and the lessons I learn. I love going back and reading some of what I write. Sometimes, I find that my views have evolved and what I wrote no longer applies. It's still fun to see where I was.

When I started listening to people talking about images and videos being the way of the world, I started getting stuck. My inspiration wasn't flowing. I was leaving the me that is “me” to please someone else. This month, I have started getting back in alignment. I have decided that it's important to write. There may be a lot of people out there that love watching videos, and looking at images. I'm not one of those people. I don't mind an occasional video and image but truly, it doesn't stir me. I'll read a book before watching a movie. I'll read written words before I watch a video. I know I am not alone.

It's so important that we do things in a way that feels in alignment with who we are.
