Step Beyond the Mark

Lately, the subject of manifesting has been up in my face. Not in a bad way but in an amazing way.

I figured out exactly what I needed to do in order to actually manifest. From all the little and incredible successes I've had, I'm able to see that the bigger things I'm manifesting are actually in gestation. They're coming!

We've been hearing for years to act as if it is already happening. See yourself driving the car. See yourself receiving that check in the mail. See yourself being who you want to be.

This is all amazing but this can actually get you stuck.

One thing that has always bugged me was hearing that the subconscious mind doesn't know the difference between reality and what we dream. Great, then why would my dreaming actually create something in reality? With my active imagination, there should be an entire magical kingdom all around me.

Let's look at it like this. For as long as I can remember, I have been wondering what my purpose is. Seeking for that exact way to fulfill my callings. Searching for my message. I'd get glimpses but I never actually got anywhere with it. It became quite frustrating to almost know my purpose to only have it slip away again.

Recently, I took to heart the concept of declaring. I started saying, “I know my purpose. I am living my purpose. I am doing my life's work.” Things started happening. Sometimes I'd hit a huge wall, I could feel it because it was so tangible. I'd use my tools and have huge ahas and make powerful changes in my core beliefs. The beliefs that I had been trying to change for years were actually changing. Along with these huge walls were deep clarity. Inner knowing. Incredible ahas and connections.

What was the difference? Before, I was stuck in the seeking, working towards, wanting to know.

This is what happens when we are imagining what we are wanting. We're seeing ourselves speak on that stage. We stay on that stage because we were told to see ourselves speaking on that stage.

The secret is in the walking off. Imagine yourself giving that speak, hear the applause, and walk away. Better yet, see yourself watching the replay of your TedTalk. See yourself reading the reviews or maybe you're answering questions afterward.

There's power in going to the step beyond what we want.

Let me know in the comments, what do you want and what's the step beyond what you want?
